So, yolonce12 has very kindly nominated me for the Very Inspiring Blogger award, and while back jav3d also nominated me for the One Lovely Blog award. I can only say, thank you so much! It means a lot to me.
Becoming a writer is one of my biggest dreams and since I joined WordPress I have found so many inspiring and lovely people, seen so much encouragement and support. I have smiled many more smiles and gained much more confidence, grown more committed to writing. So I want to thank everyone who has ever stopped by to read, comment on or like my posts.
And I must say, writing with you all is so much nicer than scribbling poems down alone in my bedroom. Not even when I have tea and biscuit to fuel the creation process.
You heard it, you’re better than biscuits! And that is one of the highest compliments existing in my sweet tooth world.
And instead of giving you seven things about myself, like the awards suggest, I think I’m going to give you seventeen lines of love instead. Enjoy!

An eyelash on my cheek
Like a fallen soldier
Limp, too tired to wink away
Numb greetings
Verbal frostbites
Gnawing hearts away

Lifts the fallen into the air
To join the pail daisy petals
